Matthew Reid Krell graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University and from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2009. While at Alabama, he was active in Temple Emmanuel and served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review.

After graduating from law school, Reid performed national service in the coalfields of Kentucky, coached the moot court team at Arkansas State University, and worked for one of the largest plaintiff-side civil rights firms in the Southeast and maintained a solo practice in DeSoto County, Mississippi. He also clerked for The Hon. Hanan Melcer, Deputy President of the Supreme Court of Israel and Chairman of the Central Election Committee of Israel.

Reid is admitted to practice in the state courts of Mississippi, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and federal courts in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

Reid is a member of the Law & Society Association, the American Bar Association, the Topeka Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar, and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. He serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Regulatory Authority, resolving disputes in the securities industry.

Reid's areas of practice include Age Discrimination, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Disability Discrimination, Employment Benefits (ERISA), Employment Discrimination, Labor Law, Pregnancy Discrimination, Professional Responsibility (bar discipline proceedings), Public Employment Law, Veteran and Military Discrimination, and Wage and Hour Litigation.
